After time in the military, Gary began a job in the floral business while attending The Kansas City Art Institute. He worked for Hallmark in Kansas City, MO then transitioned back to the retail floral industry for 35 years. During that time, he also owned his own floral and gift business. After time in retail, Gary worked for 10 years in a Kansas City showroom, handling visual merchandising. Gary is so glad to be a part of Design & Detail’s terrific crew.
In Gary’s spare time, he creates art projects, which he donates all proceeds to charities and spends time with his grandsons. He’s been asked “Will you ever retire”, and the answer is always “and do what”.
